The first week of July is traditionally dedicated to the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) – and Rockaway Capital has had a very close relationship with this social event for many years, which intensified in 2021 when the company entered the festival as a strategic investor.
But it’s not just filmmakers and cinema lovers who gather in the famous Czech spa town at this time; it’s also an ideal opportunity for business and informal meetings – our blockchain division RockawayX, in cooperation with J&T Bank, decided to host an afternoon VIP cocktail for its guests in the beautiful premises of the Sparkasse Palace.
At the beginning of the meeting, Managing Partner of the fund Viktor Fischer gave a short talk about the activities and news at RockawayX, but the rest of the afternoon there was a free program – we mainly wanted to see everyone, say hello and talk about what we do not have time for during the year.
