All newsStoryous Expands to Poland with its Point of Sale System
Czech point of sale system for cafés and restaurants – Storyous – has grown beyond domestic market in two years, and is about to expand to Poland.
Domestic start-up Storyous from Jakub Havrlant´s Rockaway group is heading for Europe. The fastest growing point of sale system in Central Europe is going to enter Poland after two years´ existence on Czech market. “At the moment, we are making new contacts and preparing the product. We plan to enter Polish market in first quarter of 2016,” says Igor Třeslín, Storyous CEO.
At the beginning of 2015, Storyous had 100 businesses acquired in 2014. At the moment, it has more than 700 cafés and restaurants in the Czech Republic. For Storyous, which monthly serves about 720 000 clients in the Czech Republic, Poland represents a big market with many opportunities. “Polish restaurants are similar to Czech ones. Many of them use old-fashioned point of sale systems. Poland is also similar as far as salaries or rental costs are concerned, “ Igor Třeslín adds.
Co-founder and former CEO of lunch portal Lunchtime Igor Třeslín took charge of Storyous in spring 2015. “I focused on the main product – our point of sale system. From a start-up with 15 employees we have become a company of 50 people and we are still growing. Storyous is and will be a reliable partner for owners of restaurants and cafés who want to manage their business more efficiently. Our point of sale system is ahead of time in many aspects: for instance, right now it is technically ready for the electronic evidence of revenues, “ Třeslín says.
The system for owners of cafés and restaurants represents an easy and efficient tool for running a restaurant or café. The owner can see in real time e.g. which meals sell best, how individual tables perform in terms of revenues, or what is the current state of supplies. Moreover, he does not have to be there personally. Storyous works also with other services such as mobile payments and modern loyalty programs. Its mobile app provides the users not only with information about opening hours or contacts, but shows also up-to-date offer or guests´ ratings.
