Kolonial.cz starts its campaign and is about to be launched

New online grocery store Kolonial.cz of E-commerce Holding has today set off the first part of its communication campaign as a vanguard of the official launch of this service.

“Before the official launch, we wanted to give some time to communicating the brand itself and give our customers some insight into the atmosphere which they can expect from Kolonial, and naturally also announce that the official launch date is coming,” says Petr Vyhnálek, the head of this new online grocery store.

However, the official launch date will not be announced during the campaign. “Testing deliveries are already being distributed, so the launch can be expected pretty soon. Anyway, we are going to announce the date once we are sure that our robust solution, which is a real challenge for logistics, IT implementation, and other disciplines, works 100%,” explains Jan Jírovec, CEO of E-commerce Holding which covers Kolonial as well as 16 other e-shops with more than 2.5 million users.

The creative concept was made by Bistro – agency which won the competitive tender and will take care of the communication after Kolonial is officially launched. The teaser campaign uses outdoor formats as well as guerilla features and their number will be growing. The visual concept arises from Kolonial´s values – it communicates comeback to traditional values and the atmosphere of the First Czechoslovak Republic.
