Storyous, startup backed up by Jakub Havrlant, is able to make a payment without waiting for the waiter

Storyous is a service for both the customer and the company. On the one hand, it brings reviews and inspiration from users; on the other hand, it works instead of cash register in restaurants: “It is a customer system of new generation. It substitutes for the ordering system and cash register in restaurants and cafés, and it makes the visit more pleasant for customers, e.g. thanks to mobile payment,” Hynek Husník from Storyous says.

Mobile payment is currently in test mode, and it actually enables to leave the restaurant without waiting for the waiter: “The payment works via our application; so far, only for a limited number of users. First of all, you register your credit card and all following payments work as repeated payments, so you do not have to write down anything, and you just enter your pin,” David Menger from Storyous explains.”

Storyous is another project into which Jakub Havrlant with his Rockaway group invested money. “Storyous is able to work with data and knowledge of customers which is the field where we see great added value; and the possibility of express payment will become more and more important, ” Jakub Havrlant explains.

 Rockaway group specializes in internet projects which extend into offline world and have the potential to change customer behavior. This year, Jakub Havrlant plans, via new fund Rockaway Capital, to invest 300 million CZK into Czech as well as foreign projects in the field of consumer internet and e-commerce.
