First CEO’s Day hosted by Rockaway

Rockaway gathered the whole team and CEOs of all its companies to one place to present their vision and exchange experience. They dealt with strategies for building global companies, focus on product and potential sharing their key activities.

CEO’s Day was started by Jakub Havrlant himself. He summarized all activities of the Group, presented the strategy and mentioned areas which are crucial for reaching success. Among them was also HR: “Strength of a company is mostly in competent people. It is essential to strengthen our teams as well as individual projects with talented people who are not afraid to work hard and will succeed even in international scale,” Jakub Havrlant said in his speech.

Also other members of Rockaway team presented their vision, including Sean Gaddis who spoke about specific areas in which his Value Creation Team specializes. He showed several case studies to demonstrate in which aspects he has helped portfolio companies so far. For the first time, he also presented Value Creation Academy – new format of specialized workshops with experts.

After that, individual CEOs were introduced, and in their presentations they focused on potential synergy and help which they can offer to other projects. The marathon of presentations was wrapped up with dinner where they had enough space to deepen mutual relationships. The very ending of CEO´s Day was also quite informal, and we already  plan to have another one in autumn.
